Grow Something

makes growing your own food possible

Make your sustainability goals something people can see, touch and taste.

We design, build and manage organic farms on your rooftop or unused space, turning ESG commitments into a living, on-site reality for your staff, tenants and community, with the data to prove it.

The opportunity

ESG targets can feel abstract. A line in a report, a number in a spreadsheet.

A farm makes them real. When you turn an idle rooftop into a working organic farm, sustainability stops being a policy and becomes a place: somewhere your employees spend a lunch break, your tenants point to with pride, and your community is invited into. It's one of the few ESG initiatives people can actually stand in and one of the few that delivers on the environmental and social pillars at once.

Wherever you're starting from, there's a way to grow with us.

How a Grow Something urban farm supports your ESG goals

CLP Headquarters

Environmental

  • Reclaims unused rooftop or podium space as productive green area, reducing the urban heat-island effect, aiding stormwater drainage, and supporting urban biodiversity.

  • Closes the loop: on-site composting and eco-enzyme turn food and garden waste into a resource, cutting what goes to landfill.

  • Shortens food miles, produce is harvested metres from where it's eaten, not shipped across borders.

  • Contributes to green-building ratings such as BEAM Plus (greenery, site ecology, and health & wellbeing credits), strengthening your building's sustainability profile.

Langham Place

Social

  • Boosts employee wellbeing and engagement, hands-on time with nature is proven to lower stress, and our workshops give teams a shared, screen-free activity.

  • Brings your community in through open days, school visits and produce donations.

  • As a certified social enterprise, we create inclusive jobs, including roles for people who face barriers to employment — so your spend supports the "S" directly.

Hutchison Telecom Tower

Reporting

  • Gives you concrete initiatives and hard numbers that map to the environmental and social sections of your HKEX ESG report, increasingly important as Hong Kong's disclosure rules tighten for listed companies.

  • We provide an annual impact summary you can drop straight into your ESG reporting.

Who we work with

Great Eagle Centre

Developers & property managers

Raise your building's green credentials and give tenants an amenity they can't get elsewhere. A managed rooftop farm supports BEAM Plus greenery and wellbeing credits, differentiates your asset, and creates a flagship space for marketing and tenant events.

Infinitus Plaza

Corporates & offices

A visible, ongoing ESG and CSR initiative your staff genuinely enjoy — team-building sessions, wellbeing workshops, and fresh organic produce for the office pantry, all contributing to your sustainability reporting.

Kerry Cargo Centre

Shopping malls & retail

Draw footfall and build community goodwill with a farm that doubles as an events and education space — family workshops, seasonal harvests, and a authentic sustainability story for your marketing.

Measurable impact you can report

For every farm we manage, we track the numbers that matter to your report:

Space greened — sqm of unused area brought back to life

Organic produce grown — kg harvested, often donated to staff or community

Waste diverted — kg of food and garden waste composted on-site

People engaged — employees and community members through workshops and events

Community reach — donations, school visits and open days

You receive an annual impact summary ready for your ESG disclosure.

How we work

  1. Consultation & site assessment — we visit your space and understand your ESG goals.

  2. Custom design & proposal — a tailored plan, quote, and the ESG outcomes it supports.

  3. Build & planting — we install and plant the farm.

  4. Ongoing management — our team keeps it thriving, so it's never a burden on yours.

  5. Workshops & engagement — sessions for staff, tenants or community, scheduled around you.

  6. Impact reporting — an annual summary for your ESG report.

It's fully managed. Your team can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like from a monthly team harvest to simply enjoying the greenery.

Why partner with a social enterprise

Choosing Grow Something adds something a commercial landscaper can't, your investment does double duty.

We reinvest at least 65% of our profits into our social mission, create inclusive employment for people facing barriers to work, and run community programmes across Hong Kong. So the money you spend greening your building also strengthens the social value you report — and aligns your ESG spend with the responsible, community-minded principles behind it.

Media Coverage
